This E-book is not published in the full length in English yet, but I have read the Danish version and I find it very interesting. Here is what the co-author states:

This biography is made based on the diary of a young woman who lived in many years in Denmark before she went on a holiday at her birthmother’s county. Her values and morale is based on her upbringing in Denmark which some might consider offending. However in order to truly understand how she experienced her stay in the United States the cultural influences has to be considered a major contributor to her choices both before, under and after her stay.

Second the names of individual youth transport firms, wilderness programs and boarding schools are not mentioned. It is not a question about being for or against various companies offering emotional growth. It is strictly a story about how Janice as she has chosen to call herself experienced a number of incidents which left life changing marks on her adult life.

This biography is co-authored because Janice wanted to have her story published in both Danish and English. We at the organization “Domestic Prisoners of Conscience” have fact checked the contents and have removed some names to avoid lawsuits.

Valessa Robinson, a 15 year old girl who lived in an upper middle class suburb, was being accused, along with her boyfriend and another friend, having killed his mother and then flee with the credit card and minivan Mom. After a dramatic chase and shootout on a lonely stretch of highway in Texas, the three were arrested.

The victim, Vicki Robinson (49), was divorced, worked in real estate, trying to raise her two teenage daughters and was looking to get ahead in your new life.

For years, she and Valessa went through the battles themselves that age. But later, Valessa became obsessed with her new love and conflict between the two worsened. A few months later, Vicki was dead, his body ‘had been found stuck in a trash can and Valessa and her boyfriend were in prison.

The police soon focused his research in 15 years, Mrs. Robinson’s daughter Valessa, it was gone, too. Mrs. Robinson had been struggling to maintain control of his rebellious daughter and was worried about her new boyfriend, Adam Davis. Davis, 19, recently spent six months in jail for robbery and burglary.

Six days after the disappearance Vicki Robinson, Robinson and Adam Davis Valessa - along with 19-year-old Jon Whispel - were arrested after a high-speed chase on Interstate 10 in Texas. The next day, the body of Mrs. Robinson was found in a trash can in the woods a few miles from his home.

Whispel reached a plea deal and turned against his friends. He said that on the night of the murder, he and Adam had taken Valessa LSD.As they sat in a Denny’s talking about what to do, soon suggested Valessa kill his mother. Inside the house Robinson, Mrs. Davis attacked and stabbed Robinson, Whispel said, adding that at one point her mother pressed Valessa.

Whispel pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Last year, Adam Davis was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to death.

I hate violence. I find it very disgraceful that this young girl back then was pressured into murder. Because the farm she was supposed to be sent to by her mother has been the target of no less than 3 investigations by the authorities.

The manager treats injured girls with prayers instead of sending them to the hospital.

It sounds like a terrible place if you judge from the girls who have been active on various websites and community networks.

However she should not have been involved in her mothers dead. She should have run away and kept herself into hiding until she had become a legally adults. It is a shame that a state like Florida has no options for teenagers who just want to party and drink beers like me at that age, which I am happy to say that I have been able to do legally in Denmark

Do not send Danish Exchange Students to Wisconsin

I just got the shocking news that a young Danish woman had her stay in Wisconsin terminated because she had sex with a boy of her age. She was 17 at the time.

The agencies who had arranged her stay there should not have allowed people with an age below the legal age where sex is allowed to travel there because it is an integrated part of our culture to socialize close once they are about 17 years of age.

The two companies involved are CETUSA in the states and Explorius in Denmark. Please avoid the use of them as they seem to operate an unsafe kind of business. The Danish family was cheated of their money.

Lunatic boxes are still a part of the daily treatment of mentally challenged people in Denmark

I just saw an article about a place where the social services used to put people until the newspapers began to write about them.

Some of the clients slept in Lunatic boxes on the floor at night. Not even a prison cell is that small

I didn’t believe what I read when I followed a link in a mail from a friend. It is about a rehab facility in South Africa where the clients are chained by the neck so they don’t run.

I simply could’t read what I saw.

I searched a little about “Efterskole” because I have a cousin who don’t know whether he would take the 10th grade locally or at a boarding school.

I mailed him the url and he thanked me afterwards to have made his decision easier. He will remain at home.

It has since been shut down, for, apparently, crimes such as abusing human rights, fraud, and whatnot (I’m going to mention now how there was mould in the bathrooms). It was a place for “girls with emotional diffuculties”. BULL. SHIT.

I have been reading about Earl Sweatshirt and his story about a year in a wilderness program (You know those over in the States where teenagers are killed almost every year) and at a boot camp in Samoa. It is also a terrible place no teenagers should be forced to stay at.

Here was a kid who had made a name for himself. He had made a career for himself instead of living on welfare.

But that was not enough. Maybe the management deal wasn’t good enough, maybe the lyrics who had excited fans over the entire globe became too much.

We don’t know what was the main reason for him to be forced to miss out an entire year of his life. Anyway he went. Rather surprisingly he survived the ordeal in the desert and found himself on Samoa where people are isolated from almost everything. Any normal teenage activities we find in our high schools like a friday bar and activities like hanging out at festivals and in town, he lost.

Now he is back, but is he the star he left as?

I believe that he has lost something. My younger brother who is 14 years old used to listen to his music alongside his classmates. They have moved on because the new music are no longer in touch with culture, tweens and teenagers live in.

They have robbed Earl Sweatshirt of so much. I only wish the best for him so I hope that he finds things to focus on now where he is a name of the past in the business.

hello. This might be a little late, but I read your post about dr. phil going too far. You mentioned how CCA resembled a juvy. Well, I went to CCA and it most certainly does not. Its actually really nice. You are free to walk around anywhere you want, even outside and there are no gates or anything. They have horses there that you can ride. The dorms are all really nice and clean. If you havent been there, you shouldnt make accusations like that.

I believe that any school which have a survivor site for its alumni’s may hide something. Secondly police reports in the areas speak of runaways and police being called out there because a student tried to use a knife against the staff.

If it is so relaxed as your state why these incidents?

Tonight I watched a documentary that made me realize I have spent far too long being far too quiet about something very serious. Something I could be speaking out about and helping other people who are going through it right now. For too long I have been ashamed to admit that when I was 13 years…

The story made me sad. There shouldn’t be places like that out there.

Regarding your Catherine Freer post, you only read about the 3 kids who died, not the thousands they saved. Like my daughter. She would have been dead without their help. Today she has a life free of drugs, anger, violence, and despair. She's at peace and is focused on her future. What's more shocking is that only 10% of teens who need treatment ever get it. Not to belittle the deaths of those three teens but teens are dying every day from drug & alcohol use and addiction.

I believe the program most likely endangered some because the management sought profit sacrificing the safety of the teenagers.

I searched a little and a former manager Daniel Coyle blamed the management for pulling money out of the program.

Is Wilderness therapy safe? Sagewalk seen on the television closed because a boy died.

Aspen Achievement Academy closed recently after 3 deaths blaming the economy.

I don’t know if wilderness therapy is safe, but teenagers seems to die all the time in various residential programs. You can read about death after death in this blog:

Maybe if I had a child with an addiction I would think different about wilderness programs, but I don’t. I do however know of a lot of teenagers who have been removed from their home due to many other reasons which have nothing to do with drugs and criminal activities. Maybe the suffer from depression which is quite normal when we think about the economy, maybe they just want to attend another church than their parents.

I should end up in such a punishment as I see wilderness programs as.

That’s why i cannot be sorry about their closure but I respect your point of view.

I didn’t know that there was so much difference between the education standard in Denmark and abroad. I was thinking of studying a half year in the United Kingdom but now I have canceled that idea.

Nicklas Bendtner is a Danish soccer player. He is a good example for young kids and plays soccer so well that he is on the Danish national team.

Unfortunately he is also the reason that I will quit soccer.

He was very unfairly issued a fine of 100,000 Euros for wearing the wrong type of underwear. If we have to reach a point where you are judged based on your choice of underwear, I will no longer support such sports.

So I have justed mailed my team that I will stop to play soccer.

We had a game next Sunday. It will be without me.

In 2003 Corey Baines died there
The same year a 15 year old girl died there

We are talking about the Catherine Freer Wilderness program located somewhere in Oregon. Oregon is a state where the climate can be extreme. Sagewalk known from a TV-show called “Brat Camp” closed in 2009 after a boy died during a hike. I saw a Facebook group seeking justice when I searched for his name. Sagewalk was also located in Oregon.

This program was rather controversial. They took some German kids in and one of them was sent there because he voted on different than his parents in the German elections. It seems wrong in a democracy even when I disagree with the particular politics he stood for.

I believe that wilderness programs and other kind of camping trips should be voluntary because the Internet is covered with names of teenagers who have died while they were forced to attend outdoor programs.

I believe that such activities cannot be conducted in a way which will keep the teenagers safe.

I don’t understand why it should take a decade before the economy did shut this program down.

Are there parents out there willing to sacrifice their children on such dangerous adventures even when they can start their computer and very easily confirm that their child would be the next one to return home in a body bag?

It was about time this program closed.

When mom and dad disagree on schooling they sometime choose boarding school so they can get their children on their side in nasty divorces. Here is such a case. The daughter want to be with her mother. The father wants her to go to a boarding school where he can get professional help convincing the daughter to love him most.

The boarding school had a boy dying there in 2009 so this place is no picnic.

A petition has been made to save her from the boarding school.

I got this email. A webpage known as Det Sorte Register in Demark has been forced to relocated to Germany.

It is a serious attack on our freedom of speech.

The webpage handles cases where ordinary citizens are in the process of being taken down by the system.

So now a chain of mails are sent to ordinary citizens like me urging us to make the public aware of this problem and with this blog entry I want to alert people. The State of Denmark is trying to silence and suppress their citizens.

The Danish Freedom Act of 2012 is support for freedom of speech. How can bombing countries like Libya help promoting the democracy in the world when the citizens in Denmark can’t get help and express themselves on the internet when they disagree with the system.

It is just not right.

I saw this story about a 17 year old girl who had to endure to live at a foster family which here in Denmark too often is equal to being beaten up or being forced to have sex with other foster siblings.

The 17 year old girl living in Sacramento California has been locked up in jail because they want her to testify against a man who raped and sexually assaulted her on three different occasions.

I cannot believe having read such a sick story before:

I only find myself praying a few times but this text was just too sad. We have an isolated place which used to be in Idaho before the ranch was raided by the department of social services out of concern for the teenagers. We do have a place near Hurricane in Utah but still too far away if you become ill to be saved from even the most common illness. A 14 year old boy died there in January 2009.

I am very sad over this text I can only pray that the teenager live to be reunited with her family
